Theme : " Spiritual ignorance "
Text : Proverbs 6: 16-19
16. There are six things which the LORD hates, and even seven which he loathes; 17. The haughty eyes, the lying tongue, The hands that shed innocent blood, 18. The heart that plots iniquitous plans, The feet that hasten to run to evil, 19. The false witness who tells lies, And the one which stirs up quarrels between brothers.
Let us remember :
We enjoy pride, lies, crimes, freedom of thought, false testimony, peddling… but we ignore that these things are in horror to God. We don't know that God hates these behaviors. We do not know that by doing certain actions, they are part of the lot of what is in horror to God. We are horrible before God. We are no better than our enemies; we are not far from the pagans. This fatal and guilty ignorance debases us and distances us from our God. Let us come out of this ignorance and approach the knowledge and wisdom that God offers. We are told that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and the end of spiritual ignorance. Let us live the fear of God and welcome to wisdom; bye-bye spiritual ignorance.
