Theme : " Spiritual ignorance "
Text : Isaiah 59: 7-10
7. Their feet run to evil, and they hasten to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity, Devastation and ruin are in their path. 8. They know not the way of peace, neither is there righteousness in their ways; They take roundabout paths: Whoever walks there knows no peace. 9. Therefore the judgment of deliverance is far from us, and salvation does not reach us; We are waiting for the light, and here is the darkness, The clarity, and we walk in the dark. 10. We grope like the blind along a wall, We grope like those who have no eyes; We stumble at noon as at night, In the midst of plenty we are like the dead.
Let us remember :
When we wallow in sin, we become like objects the devil can handle. To live in sin is to become spiritually blind. To please ourselves in sin is to remove the beacons set by God to prevent us from sinking into the darkness of ignorance. We are often unaware that sin brings nothing positive in our life; it takes us further and further away from God and from wisdom. A spiritual ignorant staggers and gropes in all his ways. He loses all stability and becomes the prey of the devil. When spiritual ignorance is rife with us, we lose lucidity, peace, joy, love, sobriety… It is sin that plunges us into spiritual ignorance. A dose of sanctification is enough to get out of this ignorance and make way for the Holy Spirit who can instruct us and reframe our actions. Let's go to ant school to learn wisdom. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
