Text : Isaiah 60: 1-3
1. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen on you. 2. Behold, darkness covers the earth, and darkness the peoples; But the Lord rises over you; His glory appears over you. 3. Nations walk in your light, and kings in the light of your rays.
Let us remember:
The world is filled with darkness. This results in the misconduct observed here and there in all corners of the world. Darkness becomes the rule and light is the exception. God seeing the darkness that covers the earth cares about it and sends us light. This light is Jesus; she came to her own but they did not receive her. In his patience, the Lord returns to the charge, he still sends light into our lives through sermons and other biblical readings. May each person stand up and open their heart for Jesus knocks. Do you want to be saved? Jesus our light is willing to shine on those who are lost in the darkness of sin. He wants to bring them to the house of God where there is eternal light. Let us accept to receive it so that the light dawns on us; May the glory of God be upon us to give light to those who are still in darkness. Let us become the light and shine in this dark world.
