Theme : " Do not conform to the present century "
Text : 2 Corinthians 6: 14-17
14. Do not put yourselves with the infidels under a foreign yoke. For what is the relationship between righteousness and iniquity? or what is there in common between light and darkness? 15. What agreement is there between Christ and Belial? or what part has the faithful with the unfaithful? 16. How does the temple of God relate to idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said: I will dwell and walk among them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. 17. Therefore, come out from among them, and be yourselves, saith the Lord; Touch not what is unclean, And I will welcome you.
Let us remember :
Bad company can confuse a peaceful citizen who was on the right track. An infidel can use subterfuge to blind a child of God. Let us know how to make good choices and let us be sensitive to the voice of God. All of our bad decisions are blamed by the Spirit of God as long as we are careful. Let us not walk with the infidels who can disorientate our life. However, do not reject them because we have to help them; it is our field of evangelization. Let us not learn their theorems from the infidels, but it is up to us to give them the basics of eternal life. There is no desire to carry on their life. We do not have to copy the infidels at the risk of resembling them. Our model is Jesus and not this confusing century. We are the temple of God; we house the Spirit of God. If a person is comfortable in the midst of infidels, it is because he is also unfaithful. Excellent loyalty Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
