Theme : " Be reconciled with God "
Text : 2 Corinthians 5: 18-20
18. And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to him through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation. 19. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to men, and he hath put in us the word of reconciliation. 20. We therefore serve as ambassadors for Christ, as though God were exhorting through us; we beseech you in the name of Christ: Be reconciled to God!
Let us remember :
Reconciliation is a divine order to be restored. God gives us the injunction to be reconciled with Him and with our neighbor. It is incompatible to be a Christian and at the same time be at odds with God. This is why we are in an unstable situation, in an embarrassing position. If we do not reconcile with God, we will be out of balance. It is up to the Christian to reconcile the world with God. But before going into the world, he must begin by reconciling himself with this God. Paul begs us to be reconciled to God. It is the key to spiritual communion, the key to access the intimate secrets of God. How can an enemy of God go and pray to God with whom he is not reconciled? This is nonsense.
