Theme : " Be reconciled with God "
Text : Romans 8: 15-17
15. And you have not received the spirit of bondage, to fear yet; but you have received a Spirit of adoption, by which we cry: Abba! Father! 16. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. 17. Now if we are children, we are also heirs: heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ, if however we suffer with him, that we may be glorified with him.
Let us remember :
Christ Jesus had already laid the foundations for our reconciliation with Him. There is no outline to be made to be reconciled with God. We are already legitimate children of God. We have access to the privileges of our Heavenly Father. However, we prefer to abandon the family court to go and serve the devil, the world and its pleasures. We ignore our rights and duties. We are trampling on God's love for us. We choose bondage over the freedom that God gives us. Now we have not received a spirit of bondage, to be yet in fear; but we have received a Spirit of adoption, by which we can cry out: Abba! Father! While the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God; our minds cling to the trivia of this world. Let us be reconciled to God in order to be heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ, if we suffer with him at all, that we may be glorified with him. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
