Theme : " Be reconciled with God "
Text : Colossians 3: 12-15
12. So therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on the entrails of mercy, goodness, humility, meekness, patience. 13. Support one another, and if one has reason to complain about the other, forgive each other. As Christ forgave you, so forgive yourself. 14. But above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfection. 15. And may the peace of Christ, to which you have been called to be one body, reign in your hearts. And be grateful.
Let us remember :
There are several attitudes that put us at odds with God and with men, such as insensitivity of heart, indifference, pride, impatience, the list goes on. We cannot please God until mercy dwells in us. Likewise, the casual attitudes that characterize us do not bring joy to our God. May each one clothe the bowels with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience. Let us accept our neighbor as he is, do not judge, do not reject, do not burn at the stake as is usual. On the contrary, support each other, forgive each other, love each other, pray for each other, exhort each other. Let's have an attitude of love which is the mark of the children of God. Perfection takes its ease in love; whoever practices charity is in the bond of perfection. Thus, we will be reconciled with God and with men; we will be at peace; and we will be one body in Christ.
