Theme: “Your offering is an act of faith that speaks in your favor”
Text: Exodus 25:1-8
1. The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2. Speak to the children of Israel. Let them bring me an offering; you will receive it for me from any man who will do it with a good heart. 3. This is what you will receive from them as an offering: gold, silver and brass; 4. fabrics dyed blue, purple, crimson, fine linen and goat's hair; 5. skins of rams dyed red and skins of dolphins; acacia wood; 6. oil for the candlestick, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 7. onyx stones and other stones for the decoration of the ephod and the breastplate. 8. They will make me a sanctuary, and I will dwell among them.
Let's remember:
By revelation, God speaks to his servants to gather offerings that will be used to build his work. Let us have confidence in God and in his servants who have the mission of collecting offerings in the name of God. Some, due to lack of confidence, refuse to give to God's servants. Let us not block the work of God because of the bad actions of certain workers of God. Their boss will take care of them. Let us trust more in God who is their employer and the rest, let us close our eyes; Let's fix it if we can. To build God's work, communities ask the faithful to bring their offerings. We have to build temples, conference rooms, schools, presbyteries and several other works that will help communities move forward in the propagation of God's work. God wants to dwell among his people. He wants to live with us to guide his Church in the best direction. By bringing good ideas as an offering, we respond to God’s call when he said to Moses, “Let them bring me an offering; you will receive it for me from any man who will do it willingly.” The word “good heart” makes the difference. Only an offering made from a good heart is pleasing to God. Above all, let’s not forget to build souls. Have a great Saturday. Amen
