Theme: “You will love your neighbor as yourself, even those who live with disabilities» Text: Proverbs 14:21 21. He who despises his neighbor commits a sin, But happy is he who has pity on the wretched! Let's remember: Contempt for our neighbor is the result of lack of love. The one who has understood the scope of love does not stop loving even when in return he receives the opposite. It happens that we are paid in monkey money after having shown love to our fellow man. This is not enough to despise him; God asks us not to stop loving. No reason can push us to contempt of our neighbour. The difference of social classes is not a sign of contempt, especially towards the poor. Let us always have our compassion at hand to come to the aid of the miserable. You don't need millions to help the poor. It is the gesture and the impulse of the heart that count before God. A wretch is a person who inspires or deserves to inspire pity; who is in misfortune, misery. It is therefore a serious but not fatal handicap because God takes care of all his creatures. Let's love each other and don't forget the people living with the handicap of misery. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
