Theme: “You will love your neighbor as yourself, even those who live with disabilities»
Text: Proverbs 19:17
17. He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, Who will repay him according to his work.
Let's remember:
The poor, the poor is a person without resources, therefore who owns nothing. When you don't have resources, it's a serious handicap that prevents you from moving forward towards the next day. [Jesus said to him: If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me, Matt. 19:21] We also read in Luke 14:13. [But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,14. And you'll be glad they can't reciprocate; for it will be returned to you at the resurrection of the righteous]. This is a secret that God is revealing to us today: donating to the needy is safe saving in God's bank. Here, our savings are not made in a human bank full of failures and at minimal interest rates. This is the bank that has never failed since the creation of the world. Love of neighbor is also taking care of people living with the handicap of poverty. This is a good work because faith without works is dead. Excellent Tuesday. Amen
