Theme: “You can succeed if you keep your heart right before God”
Text: 1 Peter 3:3-4
3. Have, not that outward adornment which consists of braided hair, golden ornaments, or the clothes that one wears, 4. but the inner adornment hidden in the heart, the incorruptible purity of a gentle and gentle spirit. peaceful, which is of great price before God.
Let's remember:
The Lord calls us to spiritual and moral probity. He wants us to be able to perfectly observe spiritual rules, and scrupulously respect his prescriptions. To do this, we must live his Word with integrity and without pretending. We must therefore avoid appearing or forcing people to falsely identify us as role models. Let us not hide behind a false identity because the Lord God sees the reality of what we are worth.Let us not have this external adornment which consists of braided hair, gold ornaments, the clothes we wear, honeyed words, false modesty, vain speeches... Let us be true Christians who do the will of God in hidden and in public. Let us have the inner adornment hidden in the heart. Let us have inner beauty which is characterized by humility, sanctification, peace, love, faith, fidelity, gentleness, temperance… Let us give others the desire to be like us and to love God like us we love it. Let us reflect Christ. Let us have the incorruptible purity of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is of great price before God. Our thoughts must be pure and right. Let's chase away duplicity, deception, indelicacy, dishonesty, bad faith, partiality... Have a great Wednesday. Amen
