Theme: “Worshiping God in Spirit and Truth”
Text: Revelation 11:16-17
16. And the twenty-four elders, who sat before God on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17. Saying, We thank you, Lord God Almighty, who are, and who were, because you have taken hold of your great power and have reigned.
Remember:
If we want to succeed in worshiping God in spirit and truth, we must leave everything. Each worshiper must leave his comfort zone that prevents him from bowing down on his face. Worshiping God in spirit and truth means leaving his throne and moving towards the sublime. We must move, let us not remain seated. The twenty-four elders, who were seated before God on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God. We too, who are seated on the thrones of our civil and military responsibilities, on the thrones of our functions, the thrones of our advantages, the thrones of our spiritual gifts, the thrones of our successes; let us fall on our faces and worship God. Let us join the heavenly choir in worshiping the one who was, who is to come and who will be. Let us understand that worship is not just about singing or praying; but it is an attitude, a life, an impulse of the heart, a behavior. It is an uninterrupted succession of acts of value that elevate the King of glory. Worshiping God is one thing; worshiping Him in spirit and in truth brings a cherry on the cake of consecration. It is an unconditional supplement that must never be removed from our daily life. Let us give thanks to the Lord God Almighty, for he has seized his great power and taken possession of his kingdom. Excellent Saturday. Amen
