Theme: “Worship that pleases the Lord" Text: Matthew 13:14-15 14. And for them is fulfilled this prophecy of Isaiah: You will hear with your ears, and you will not understand; You will look with your eyes, and you will not see. 15. For the heart of this people has become dull; They have hardened their ears and closed their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, or hear with their ears, or understand with their hearts, or be converted, and that I heal them.
Let's remember:
Worship that pleases the Lord is opening the heart to his grace by receiving his Word, practicing it, and teaching it to others. The Eternal God allows enough time for each person to deconstruct carnal reasonings and relearn the truth and the salvation that he gives through our faith in his Word. Let's be humble to continue learning every day at his feet without self-sufficiency. But for those who resist and stand in the way of the Word of life; those who do not desire it with all their heart; those who do not allow themselves to be transformed by it, God will send them a power of error so that they perish in their unbelief. Isaiah 6:9-10 tells us about it, as does 2 Thess. 2:11, 12. God Himself will cloud the minds of the wise who will not be led by Him, so that their wisdom will become vain; they will look without seeing, they will hear without understanding. Today more than ever, let us abandon ourselves to the grace of God and offer our hearts to the obedience of his Word; it is the only true worship that God accepts with his eyes closed.
