Theme: “Worship that pleases the Lord" Text: Romans 5:1-2

1. Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2. to whom we owe access by faith to this grace, in which we stand firm, and we glory in the hope of the glory of God.

Let's remember:

Anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified before God. His sin is washed away, his debt paid, his salvation guaranteed. Such a condition acquired in Christ Jesus allows us to live in peace because nothing troubles us anymore. In Jesus, we have peace without exception, without limit, without borders. It is certain that we would not be at peace if our salvation in Jesus had been paid for out of our own funds. We would be looking for ways to reimburse the costs inherent in our salvation because it would have cost an arm and a leg. Our faith leads us before the Father through Jesus Christ, thus we reap the grace of God; this grace opens us to the peace that comes from the bosom of God. Nothing disturbs this peace, neither the memory of past sins (already forgiven), nor the feeling of present sins (which have no power over us). Strengthened by this peace, we remain firm and steadfast in the face of the shocks of this world. If we understand the value of this work of Christ, we are already worshiping Him. Excellent Thursday of peace. Amen Alain Louz.-
