Theme: “What promotes sustainable development“
Text: 2 Corinthians 9:5-9
5. I have therefore found it necessary to invite the brethren to come to you beforehand, and attend to your bounty already promised, so that it may be ready, so as to be a bounty, and not an act of 'avarice. 6. Know that he who sows little will reap little, and he who sows abundantly will reap abundantly. 7. Let each give as he has resolved in his heart, without sadness or constraint; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8. And God is able to shower you with all kinds of graces, so that, always having in all things to satisfy all your needs, you will still have plenty for every good work, 9. as it is written: He hath made largesse, he gave to the needy; His righteousness stands forever.
Let's remember:
The secret is given to us; if we want to develop in a sustainable way, we must invest heavily. If someone sows abundantly, he invests for the long term because his investment will also yield an abundant harvest. We cannot hope to achieve sustainable development if our investments are not made in keeping with future expectations. Let's be consistent; by sowing little, we will reap little. When we sow little, we restrict the blessings. It can be a kind of greed. It is as if we refused to do good to our neighbour. Donating is a way to sow. Depending on the value of this gift, the Lord will grant in return a harvest which is the consequence of this gift. No matter who receives this gift, it will be recorded in the book of memories and then it will generate a harvest in proportion to the seed. The secret is therefore to sow good and precious things in order to reap great riches both in heaven and on this earth. The best seed is our heart which we must plant in the work of God by unfailing obedience; and we will gain eternity; the best harvest ever. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
