Vigilance and expectation

Theme: “Vigilance and expectation" Text: Revelation 16:15 15. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Remember: Vigilance is attentive surveillance, without failure. As for waiting, it is the fact of staying in a place until someone arrives. The Christian awaits the return of his savior Jesus Christ to go with Him to the holy city. We are asked not to lower our guard but to remain vigilant because his arrival is imminent except that we do not know on what watch he will arrive. We are asked to be very attentive and to avoid dozing off. May the god of this century not disturb our awakening, may he not confuse our expectation. Let's stay focused from start to finish. The devil is a hard worker, multiplying the strategies to disturb us, to recruit us in his arena and to fill the list of those who will go with him into Gehenna. When he multiplies his strategies, on our side, let us redouble our vigilance. That our attention remains sustained, let's avoid dozing. May the state of our conscience be found beyond reproach. Without signaling, the Lord comes. Without warning, he will surprise us like a thief. Those who are weary of waiting will be found naked and shrouded in shame. Excellent Monday of vigilance and expectation. Amen Alain Louz.-
