Theme: “Two paths, two destinies: choose the right one” Text: Isaiah 26:7-10
7. The path of the righteous is righteousness; You who are righteous make straight the path of the righteous. 8. So we wait for you, O LORD; in the way of your judgments; Our soul longs for your name and for your memory. 9. My soul desires you in the night, And my spirit seeks you within me; For when your judgments are exercised on the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. 10. If we show mercy to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; he commits evil in the land of righteousness; he does not respect the majesty of God.
Let's remember:
It is very important to do good, nothing but good. The one who behaves well is the one who has chosen the good side of life. By standing tall in this world, we prepare the way for the ungodly to walk. When we adorn ourselves with good works, we serve as an example to those who have made the wrong choice because the Lord will open their eyes to see how to behave well. Even when our good behavior does not bring us any visible advantage, let us try not to give in to the pressure of visible things because the invisible which is reserved for God hides many wonders in the celestial bank of our life. When we behave well, we save good works in our Book of Memories account. To behave well is to practice justice, charity, peace, make good choices, abstain from sin and live in sanctification. Let everyone put on good behavior. The Lord gives grace to the wicked but if the wicked does not take advantage of this grace to change his life, he will regret it because grace has an end. Proverbs 31:30 teaches us that "grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain; the woman who fears the Lord is the one who will be praised." This is why some people say to themselves that everything is permitted to them since everything succeeds in evil and God does not repress them. These people live in the period of grace which is a time that God gives us to mend our ways and get back on the right path. Let us join the right path to leave the bad life and find our destiny planned by the Lord God. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
