Theme: “To be in abundant grace Text: Psalms 23:1-6

1. The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. 2. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He directs me near still waters. 3. He restores my soul, He leads me in the paths of righteousness, Because of his name. 4. When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me: Your rod and your staff comfort me. 5. You prepare before me a table, In front of my adversaries; You anoint my head with oil, And my cup overflows. 6. Yes, happiness and grace will be with me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord until the end of my days.

Let's remember:

Abundant grace comes from God. She has fallen to those who have her as a shepherd. The shepherd provides security, food, sanitary needs, in short, all the vital needs of the sheep are the responsibility of the shepherd. The shepherd faces danger and even death to protect his sheep. It is up to the shepherd to think about the pastures where the sheep will graze. Abundant grace consists in having a Father (Shepherd) who does everything for his children (sheep). If the sheep lacks nothing, it is because there is a shepherd who supplies it. Even the ideal resting place is the choice of the shepherd. When we are thirsty, it is still God our shepherd who is responsible for bringing us to peaceful waters; it will never lead us to troubled waters. It even works within us as it restores our soul. It is He and still He who orients us towards justice so that we resemble him, because he is a God of justice. With his crook and his stick, he secures our paths against any spoilsport. Where a deadly snare is set for us, our God who always precedes us foils it so that we may pass through in safety and without fear. Before our enemies, he makes us triumph without trembling. Our everyday life is nothing but abundant grace. Who else would we go to? Thank you Lord for your abundant grace. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
