9. Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase. 10. Then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

When grace is abundant to us, it is necessary to know how to return the elevator to the depositary of said grace. The God who supplies our needs must be satisfied with our commitment to his service. He must accept the sacrifices we make for his work but also to please him and to rejoice his heart. A noble way to rejoice the heart of God is to bring him the firstfruits. Admittedly, it is a concept very little exploited nowadays, but it is still usual. The firstfruits are the first harvested fruits, the first products of our harvest. It can also be our first salary, it can be the first animal born from our livestock, it can also be the first job, the first appointment, the first trip, the first mission expenses, the first savings in short it is impossible to make An exhaustive list. Know that firstfruits lead to abundant grace. Thus, if we want the Lord God to visit us, to marvel at us, to bless us, to grant us abundant grace, let us quickly restore his firstfruits to him.
