Theme : " To be a prosperous family " Text : Ephesians 6: 1-4
1. Children, obey your parents according to the Lord, for this is right. 2. Honor your father and your mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), 3. so that you may be happy and live long on earth. 4. And you, fathers, do not anger your children, but bring them up by correcting them and teaching them according to the Lord.
Let us remember :
A good family relationship is the basis of prosperity and stability. When there is a good understanding between parents and their children, a balance is created in the home. Respect is one of the conditions which establishes peace and tranquility. All abuses must be prohibited in order to drive frustrations away from the family circle. The upkeep or maintenance of the home is done by the Lord God; He alone can perpetuate the good understanding that reigns in a family where first place is his. God calls us to obedience to him but also to parents. Children should honor their parents and God. A firm promise of happy life and longevity is tied to this law of obedience. Parents should correct and teach their children without irritating them. An irritated child can lose their lucidity. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
