The walk in peace

Monday, September 26, 2022

Theme: "The walk in peace" Text: Acts 9:31 31. The Church was at peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, building herself up and walking in the fear of the Lord, and growing by the assistance of the Holy Spirit. Let's remember: After the series of persecutions undergone by the Christian communities having carried away Stephen in his procession of misfortune, the Church knew a season of appeasement. For peace to return, God silenced many of those who persecuted His Church. In this lot, there was Saul who later became Paul. God recruited him from the side of the persecuted so that he would leave his role as executioner and go over to the side of the victims. Paul was beginning to experience the same persecution that he was doing to the Church of God; the Jews wanted to put him to death because he had betrayed his old oath. However, God had established a period of peace within the Church. Walking in peace can only be possible when each stakeholder keeps their gaze fixed on Jesus Christ the Lord of Salem (peace). No institution can establish peace in the world without the contribution of our Lord Jesus Christ. Such a peace will be volatile and will last only the season of a smoke that evaporates in the trouble of the wind. Conversely, when peace is established by God, it is lasting and stable. Note that peace must be preserved and cared for in the same way as one preserves good health or faith. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
