Theme : " The Victorious Presence of Christ in His Church: Source of Our Assurance " Text : Romans 8:33-39

33. Who will accuse God's elect? It is God who justifies! 34. Who will condemn them? Christ died; much more, he is risen, he is at the right hand of God, and he intercedes for us! 35. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will it be tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or hunger, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? 36. As it is written: It is because of you that we are put to death all day long, that we are looked upon as sheep destined for the slaughter. 37. But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38. For I am sure that neither death nor life, neither angels nor dominions, neither things present nor things to come, 39. neither powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any no other creature can separate us from the love of God manifested in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let's remember:

The few episodic battles that the devil brings into our lives should not make us forget the presence of the victorious Christ with his procession of triumphs. Victorious Christ redeemed us from the butchery originally planned by our enemy satan the devil. The false and grotesque accusations of the devil are immediately rejected by Christ, the intercessor of God's elect. The price of our victory in Christ has been paid only once, thus redeeming all humanity once stuck in spiritual precariousness. Glory be given to God who sent his Son Jesus Christ to come and establish order and discipline by his sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. Long before, the devil used his tools like tribulation, anguish, persecution, hunger, nudity, peril, the sword to blackmail the children of God. Like that, he constantly accused us to God the Father. Now we have a powerful advocate defending our cause; which reconciles us with God and makes us more than conquerors. Thank you Lord because nothing can separate us from the love of God. Excellent happy Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
