Theme : " The Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem " Text : Matthew 21:6-11

6. The disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7. They brought the donkey and the colt, put their clothes on them, and made him sit on them. 8. Most people in the crowd spread their clothes on the way; others cut branches from trees and strewed the road with them. 9. Those who preceded and those who followed Jesus cried: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in very high places! 10. When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was moved, and they said, Who is this? 11. The crowd answered, It is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee.

Let's remember:

Jerusalem is the heart of Israel, the royal seat where the authorities were concentrated political and spiritual. This is where the Wailing Wall and several other symbols are erected. This is where King David lived. It is therefore the starting point or the anchoring point of Israel. It is “self or myself”, my family, my nation. It is in each of us that Jesus makes his triumphal entry to overthrow satan who occupies our hearts. It is the day of deliverance, the day of accomplishment, of the installation of the new covenant. Let's mark our hearts and cleanse our lives to remove obstacles in the way of Jesus. It is a moment of joy and deliverance. Let's shout Hosanna to the Son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in very high places. The kingdom of God enters our hearts, our families, our communities, our nations. We begin the process of passing from death to life. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
