Theme: "The Transforming Power of the Gospel."
Text: Philippians 1:4-6
4. never ceasing, in all my prayers for you all, 5. to manifest my joy about your participation in the gospel, from the first day until now. 6. I am convinced that he who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Let us remember:
The apostle Paul rejoices that all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, the bishops and the deacons; take part in the gospel. Each time we work to preach the gospel, we rejoice the heart of God and that of his servants. By taking part in the gospel, we implant the kingdom and the justice of God. The results may not be immediate, but let us know that there are significant advances because the Gospel has a transforming power of hearts and souls. Yes, the transforming power of the Gospel can turn an entire family, a city, a country or even a continent upside down. Thus, when we participate in the Gospel, we push back the works of darkness. Seeing the works accomplished by the saints of Philippi, Paul gave thanks to God for all the memory he kept of them. He did not cease, in all his prayers for them, to manifest his joy, for the part that the Philippians took in the Gospel every day. Let us manifest our joy that the transforming power of the Gospel continues its work until our days; otherwise, what would we be if the Gospel had lost its power? Thank you to God who began this good work in us and who will make it perfect for the day of Jesus Christ. Let us have a strong desire to proclaim the Gospel. Let us not be ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. Have a great Friday and a good start to the weekend. Amen
