Theme : " The Retribution of the Wicked "
Text : Matthew 24:45-51
45. Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has appointed over his people, to give them food in due time? 46. Blessed is that servant whom his master, on his arrival, will find doing so! 47. Truly I tell you, he will set him over all his possessions. 48. But if he is a wicked servant, who says within himself: My master is slow in coming, 49. if he begins to beat his companions, if he eats and drinks with drunkards, 50. the master of this servant will come on a day when he does not expect it and at an hour which he does not know, 51. he will tear him to pieces and give him his share with the hypocrites: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Let's remember:
We must not trample on the trust that the Lord our God places in us. Originally, we agreed to receive Him as the only Lord of our life. Thus, we should not find disobedience in our midst because we had opted to follow Jesus and remain faithful to Him. The change of course, which constitutes disobedience, is an infidelity that has no place in our lives. A person who wants to be found diligent in doing good must do it every day since he does not know the day of his master's return. It is by repeating the good that we get used to it and that we come out of the lot of wicked sinners. Conversely, a person who practices wickedness every time will become a slave to it. It is by forging that one becomes a blacksmith, either of good or of evil. Let us choose to be on the good side and live in obedience to the Word of God in order to escape the retribution of the wicked. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
