The Rapture of the Church at the Return of Christ

Saturday February 5, 2022

Theme: “The Rapture of the Church at the Return of Christ” Text: Hebrews 11:5 5. It was by faith that Enoch was translated that he should not see death, and that he appeared no more because God had taken him up; for, before his rapture, he had received the testimony that he was pleasing to God.

Let's remember:

The Lord kidnapped Philip at the end of his mission to the Ethiopian eunuch. God took him elsewhere to perpetuate his work according to Acts 8: 40. His removal was real since the eunuch no longer saw him. Thus, Philip appeared at Azot, continuing as far as Caesarea. However, Enoch's rapture is different because it is an expression of divine recognition of his faith and integrity. God our Heavenly Father can shorten the days of a righteous person to spare him a tumultuous future that could pervert him. Yahweh passes often by death to remove us from this world. Now, death is a penalty from Adam's sin. The case of Enoch was particular although identical to that of Elijah. Enoch walked with God for three hundred (300) years, preaching judgment. Thanks to his faith, Enoch did not pass through death because the Lord had found him worthy of the rapture. Let us be honest so that God takes us among those who will be raptured to join the celestial city. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
