Theme : " The power of the Word of God, a therapy for any disease and even HIV / AIDS "
Text : Matthew 8: 5-10; 13
5. As Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came up to him, 6. praying to him and saying, Lord, my servant is lying at home, with paralysis and in great pain. 7. Jesus said to him, I will go and heal him. 8. The centurion answered, Lord, I am not worthy for you to come under my roof; but just say one word, and my servant will be healed. 9. For I, who am subject to superiors, have soldiers under my command; and I say to one: Go! and he goes; to the other: Come on! and he comes; and to my servant: Do this! and it does. 10. After hearing this, Jesus was amazed, and he said to those who followed him: Truly I say to you, even in Israel I have not found such great faith …… 13. Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go, according to your faith be it to you. And that very hour the servant was healed.
Let us remember:
Wonderful faith! This centurion had confidence and faith as weapons. He had faith that the Word of God released by Jesus has the capacity to heal any disease. He also had the assurance that Jesus did not need to see the sick to heal him. For this centurion, distance was not an obstacle capable of preventing the blossoming of the power of the Word of God over any disease. He was able to arouse the amazement and joy of Jesus. When our faith meets the healthy will of God, the mighty word of God triggers a miracle. Now we can send the Word of God to heal illnesses, including hiv / aids. Distance must not be an obstacle because space and time do not nullify the power of the Word of God. The Word of God can go and operate in a well-guarded house, neither seen nor known, and above all without crying out guard.
