Theme : " The power of the Risen One in our lives "
Text : 2 Corinthians 5:13-17
13. Indeed, if I am out of sense, it is for God; if I have common sense, it's for you. 14. For the love of Christ urges us on, because we reckon that if one died for all, then all are dead; 15. and that he died for all, that those who live may no longer live for themselves, but for him who died and rose again for them. 16. Thus, from now on, we do not know anyone according to the flesh; and if we have known Christ according to the flesh, now we no longer know him in this way. 17. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Let's remember:
The marvelous power of the Risen One is clearly distinguished in each child of God, in that his life is transformed by this same resurrection. Anyone who lives and experiences the power of the Risen One is seen as being out of his mind. His daily life is no longer made up of natural common sense because his life is now under divine control. It is then that all circumstances become favorable to the obedience of God. What fills his heart is the love of God and the exercise of faith. Such a person no longer lives to cling to this world, but prepares his place in the eternal kingdom of God. Living becomes for God and likewise dying will be for God. The carnal passions of the past life no longer have a place in the heart; everything is replaced by the fruit of the Spirit and the zeal that gives the gospel of peace. When the power of the Risen One is not visible in the life of a child of God, it is clear that the old things still control his life; therefore Christ is not yet accepted as a personal Lord. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
