The power of praise: an asset for the liberation of the people of God

Saturday August 12, 2023

Theme: “The power of praise: an asset for the liberation of the people of God Text: 1 Samuel 16:14-23

14. The spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, who was stirred by an evil spirit from the Lord. 15. Saul's servants said to him, Behold, an evil spirit from God is stirring you. 16. Let our Lord speak! Your servants are before you. They will look for a man who can play the harp; and when the evil spirit of God is upon you, it will play with his hand, and you will be relieved. 17. Saul answered his servants, Find me a man who plays well, and bring him to me. 18. One of the servants answered, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse, a Bethlehemite, who can play; he is also a strong and valiant man, a warrior, speaking well and of a beautiful face, and the Lord is with him. 19. Saul sent messengers to Jesse, saying to him, Send me David your son, who is with the sheep. 20. Jesse took an ass and loaded it with bread, a skin of wine, and a goat, and sent these things to Saul through David his son. 21. David came to Saul, and stood before him; Saul greatly pleased him, and he was appointed to bear his arms. 22. Saul said to Jesse: Please leave David in my service, for he has found favor in my eyes. 23. And when the spirit of God was upon Saul, David took the harp and played with his hand; Saul then breathed more easily and was relieved, and the evil spirit withdrew from him.

Let's remember:

When an anointing of mighty praise rests in the bosom of a God-loving person, that person becomes qualified to bring solutions where doom had set in. From a distance, people will talk about this person around them; thus becoming the repository of difficult questions that only God can solve. When God imprints his imprint soaked with praise in any life, he himself takes charge of accompanying each work that the person will do by accomplishing it according to the desired expectations. And when the person takes action to exercise his gift, the Lord silences the discordant voices that created the tumult. During a session of praise to God, the worker who is active in this praise becomes the transmission belt of divine power. Without delay, the delivery takes place and the results are palpable in the blink of an eye. But beware, it is fundamentally inadvisable to take such a man as an enemy because the provision of God which operates in him would rout all the dissidents; whatever their number. Praise does not just come from a human voice; it can come from a musical instrument. It all comes from God who accepts praise and follows it with deeds, signs, wonders and miracles. The circuit of this functioning is thus constituted: God deposits in someone the gift of knowledge (the ability to play a musical instrument) then adds a supplement of excellent grace, making the exercise of this gift perfect. . Then, God unfolds each time the person exercises his gift; it takes over the spiritual part by transforming a simple sound of instrumental music into a real psychiatric or medical therapy depending on the case. The sick person feels an inner appeasement affecting his mind and soul while transmitting the fallout to his physical flesh so that those around him can see the physical and mental healing. Let us be in prayer during the worship because spirits leave the bodies and want to find other shelters to possess. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
