Theme : " The Holy Spirit, a power for the upliftment of the Church " Text : John 20: 22-23
22. After these words he breathed on them, and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. 23. Those whose sins you forgive, they will be forgiven; and those from whom you retain them, they will be withheld.
Let us remember:
For the Holy Spirit to work effectively for our recovery and that of the Church; we have an obligation to give him his place of guide. As long as we stifle his action in the midst of our communities and our families, we will not see any glorious work; no bearing will be observed. However, currently the trend has been reversed; it is the Church who commands the Holy Spirit and not the other way around. We instruct the Holy Spirit to follow us while it would be the other way around. Let the breath of God refresh us so that its action is triggered. Let us learn to forgive and free the prisoners who are serving their sentences in our hearts. We forgive with our mouths but our hearts are always in open conflict. This way of doing things will only hold back the sin. May the Holy Spirit lead us as he pleases. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
