Theme : “ The Holy God wants us holy ”
Text : Leviticus 19:1-4
1. The LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2. Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Be holy, for I am holy, the LORD your God. 3. Each of you will respect your mother and father, and keep my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God. 4. You shall not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molten gods.
Let's remember:
This message, formerly concerned only the children of Israel. Today it concerns all peoples and all nations of the world. We go before a holy God; he will receive us only on condition of sanctifying us. It's time to understand: why our requests do not receive favorable responses? It is because we are not holy while our God is. This contrast is incompatible despite God's grace and mercy. Anyone who wants to approach Yahweh must wear the white garment of holiness. The extension of holiness is also respect for parents, families, friends, acquaintances, strangers, Christians and even pagans. Continuation of holiness reaches respect for the Sabbaths and any other expression of the works of God. To perpetuate holiness, we must be faithful and committed to stand with our feet together in God. We must not make an alliance with the works of darkness, the deities in wood, in cast iron, in clay... Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
