Theme: “The good witness of the Christian family”
Text: 1 Peter 3:15
15. But sanctify Christ the Lord in your hearts, always being ready to defend yourselves with meekness and reverence before anyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you,
Let's remember:
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 10:16. “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be prudent as serpents, and simple as doves.” Being a Christian is not as simple as a walk in the park. The forces of evil combine to attack us because of the hope in Christ that we confess. Fortunately we are not alone, so we have no reason to worry about how we will speak or what we will say: what we will have to say will be given to us that very moment; for it is not we who will speak, it is the Spirit of our Father who will speak in us. This is the sharing of those who have a good testimony. God always intervenes on the side of those who have a good testimony. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. So who will mistreat us if we bear a good testimony? Let us not be afraid of being attacked because God is our force of slow or rapid intervention according to his sovereignty. Let us bravely defend our good testimony so that we are not like ignorant people. Let us defend our rights and not forget our duties to continue to bear good witness in the Christian family. May our hearts never be troubled, despite the circumstances that will change the course of our lives. Let us take courage and defend our good testimony. Let us never give up, especially since we have a defense lawyer who wins all his cases: Jesus Christ. Have a great Wednesday. Amen
