Theme : " The God of Jacob "
Text : Micah 4: 1-4
1. It will come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD will be founded on the top of the mountains, and will be exalted above the hills, and the peoples will flow therein. 2. Nations will go there in crowds, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways, and that we walk in his paths. . For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3. He will be the judge of many peoples, the arbiter of mighty, distant nations. They will forge plows with their swords, and their spears into billhooks; Nation will no longer draw sword against nation, neither will war be taught any more. 4. Each one will dwell under his vineyard and under his fig tree, and there will be no one to disturb them; For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.
Let us remember :
The God of Jacob is the top of several other mountain peaks. He is the God of gods, the Lord of lords. For thousands of years, the world has used the authority of the God of Jacob to serve it. Even when we know that the worship had been transferred from Jerusalem to our hearts; Christians from all over the world still converge on Jerusalem every year because it is the hub of faith; It looked like the "head office" of the Church. Let us open our hearts to the God of Jacob, so that he may teach us his ways, and we may walk in his paths. Let us lift up our hearts and our lives to the God of Jacob who is the top of the mountain in Jerusalem to receive His Word. He is the just judge, the arbiter of powerful and distant nations.
