The God of Jacob

Tuesday July 27, 2021

Theme : " The God of Jacob " Text : Psalm 46: 7-11

7. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. 8. Come and behold the works of the Lord, His destruction on the earth. 9. It is he who made the fighting cease to the ends of the earth; He broke the bow, and he broke the spear, He consumed the chariots with fire. 10. Stop, and know that I am God: I rule over the nations, I rule over the earth. 11. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Let us remember :

All the armies of the natural and spiritual world are at the disposal of the Lord who mobilizes them for the fight. Our God is the great Commander-in-Chief of these armies; He can deploy them to attack; just as He can shelter them to hide them in Him because He is a safe shelter, a refuge, a fortress, a high retreat. At the head of these armies, the Eternal destroys the enemy's camp by devoting by interdict all the subjects who dare to resist him. He is the God of Jacob who exercises our hands in battle and our fingers in battle. When Yahweh raises the bow in battle, nothing and no one can stop it. When He stops hostilities, all fighting soon ceases and calm returns at a gallop; God does not skimp on the means of returning to calm because He dominates the nations. The God of Jacob is our rightful heritage to be preserved. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
