Theme : " The God of Jacob "
Text : Isaiah 45: 18-19
18. For thus saith the LORD, the Creator of the heavens, the only God, who formed the earth, and made it, and established it, who created it that it would not be deserted; Who made it to be inhabited: I am the Lord, and there is no other. 19. I have not spoken secretly in a dark place of the earth; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain! I, the Lord, speak what is right, I proclaim what is right.
Let us remember :
Our God, the God of Jacob, our Lord is presented to us here by some attributes which make him different from other divinities. Yes, the Lord speaks, He is not a silent God, He says what He does and vice versa. Several decades before; He announces the things that will happen. He is the Creator because it is He who announces things to come, then He calls them into existence; He creates them. Everything was created by Him, nothing that exists is created without Him. He is the only eternal God, from age to age He reigns without division above any Name which wants to be named in all the universe. The other divinities are the work of sculptors, ceramists, goldsmiths, basket makers, designers in short they are an artistically made work of craftsmanship. It is the men who wear them to protect them from water, fire, winds, mold… to prevent them from being damaged. The God of Jacob is true because He is the truth. He is the God of righteousness. He revealed himself to Jacob and today it is our turn to experience his splendor. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
