Theme: “The Church: Family of God's Children» Text: Revelation 19:5-9

5. And a voice came out from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, ye that fear him, both small and great! 6. And I heard as a voice of a great multitude, as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of strong thunders, saying, Alleluia! For the Lord our Almighty God has come into his kingdom. 7. Let us rejoice and be glad, and give him glory; for the wedding feast of the Lamb is come, and his bride is made ready, 8. and it is given to him to clothe himself with fine linen, bright, pure. For the fine linen is the righteous works of the saints. 9. And the angel said unto me, Write: Blessed are they that are called to the wedding feast of the Lamb! And he said unto me, These words are the true words of God.

Let's remember:

For us, the members of the family of God, it is essential to praise our God for the gift of Jesus Christ whom he has established as head of the Church which is his body. We have every reason to praise him so as not to be ungrateful. The work accomplished by Jesus, which consists in saving us and gathering us around Him, confers on Him the status of Lord and Savior of all humanity. This is why, let us put on our most beautiful works of faith and strip ourselves of those which are dead in order to go to the wedding without spot. The time Jesus takes to prepare us for holiness should not be wasted. Each member of the family must be found pure and blameless so as not to miss the wedding feast of the Lamb. We must sparkle with our good works in order to wear the fine linen. Only those who will have righteous works will be invited to the wedding, the good works which are also the crowning of sincere faith in Jesus because sincere faith produces good works.
