Theme: “The Church: Family of God's Children» Text: Ephesians 1:15-23

15. Therefore I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and of your charity for all the saints, 16. do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, 17. that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation, in his knowledge, 18. and may he enlighten the eyes of your heart, that you may know what is the hope which clings to his call, what is the richness of the glory of his inheritance which he reserves for the saints, 19. and what is towards us who believe the infinite greatness of his power, manifesting itself effectively by the virtue of his strength. 20. He displayed it in Christ, raising him from the dead, and seating him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21. above all dominion, all authority, all power, all dignity, and of every name that can be named, not only in the present age, but also in the age to come. 22. He put all things under his feet, and he gave him as supreme head to the Church, 23. which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Let's remember:

Within a family, solidarity is essential. We need to carry each other's burdens and pray for each other. This is how we will reach the final destination of eternal life. Let no one stay on the way. Let us get to know God and his Son Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Saviour. The family must have the right knowledge of the works accomplished by Jesus the eldest of the family. It is through him that we have access to the spirit of wisdom and revelation, in his knowledge, he who enlightens the eyes of our hearts, and teaches us the hope which attaches to his call. We are not allowed to ignore how God has displayed in Christ, the infinite greatness of his power, manifesting itself effectively by the virtue of his strength; raising him from the dead, and making him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places. Nothing can resist Him in the face; no dominion, no authority, power or dignity, no name that can be named. Christ conquered them; they are under his feet. Such a grandiose work cannot remain hidden in the silence of our hearts. It must be made public within the Church which is the body of Christ and also the family of the children of God of which the same Christ is the supreme head. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
