Theme: "The Christian, Salt of the Earth"
Text: Colossians 4:6
6. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Let us remember:
The speech of each child of God must appease the audience. A child of God must never speak without having turned his tongue seven times. He must avoid compromises that destroy the speech to the point of hurting his interlocutor. A gentle answer calms anger, but a hurtful word excites irritation. He who teaches with wisdom makes knowledge attractive, but the mouth of fools only spreads foolishness. The Christian, salt of the earth, cooks his words so that consumers are not affected by them. This is why we must season our thoughts before converting them into words. When we show gentleness to others by seasoning our words, we show them love and respect. If we season our words, we will build stronger relationships with others, we will be able to communicate better and resolve conflicts. The Christian must know how to make the breadcrumbs of his words, he must marinate his message well in order to give a good taste to this message. Each word must always be accompanied by grace, blessing, love, peace. Speaking is to align the right words that must be seasoned with salt, in order to respond well to our counterpart. Some words that do not season should never come out of our mouths. Let us have a repertoire of seasonable words. Excellent Tuesday. Amen
