Theme: “The Christian, model of maturity in society”
Text: 1 Corinthians 13:10-11
10. But when that which is perfect has come, that which is partial will pass away. 11. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; When I became a man, I made childish things disappear.
Let's remember:
A model person is one who possesses certain qualities that make them the type of a category. We can reproduce what she does to serve as an example. It is a sample, a reference, a specimen, a standard, a prototype. Maturity is the period of life characterized by full spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional development. Maturity is felt in the way of expressing emotions, words, decisions... Maturity can be spiritual, emotional... It also recognizes the importance of listening and taking into account the emotions and opinions of others. Lack of maturity can sometimes result in impulsiveness, anger... A pagan is by nature spiritually immature. He does not master the things of God. He lives a life without God. His life is partial because Christ is missing. And when he receives Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, the partial side ceases; Jesus the perfect takes control of his life. Pagan life gives way to Christian life. He accesses hidden things, divine graces, he enters into the secret of God. He lives for God.2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Excellent month of July. Amen
