Theme: “The Christian faced with the challenge of development” Text: Genesis 1:26-28
26. Then God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let him rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over cattle, over all the earth, and over all creeping things. who crawl on the ground. 27. God created man in his own image, he created him in the image of God, he created male and female. 28. God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every animal that moves on the earth.
Let's remember:
The challenge is the challenge, it is a difficult situation to overcome, a complicated task to achieve. It is a commitment to keep from start to finish. It is also a mission that has been entrusted and that must be carried out without failure. The challenge of development is the fight to be waged to ensure growth, advancement, fulfillment, evolution. The challenge of development also includes training, good walking, climbing, movement, process, progress, extension. If the development challenge fails, we will either end up in regression or stagnation. In God's plan, the human is a watchman, if not a superintendent even better a sound manager. The human must think about strategies that would help balance, stabilize, defend, develop and safeguard the creatures that are at their disposal. The human being the most developed animal and therefore the best educated, must ensure that the world does not pitch. The world must not be ruined by its fault or by the fault of the other creatures in its charge. It must develop reliable and sustainable strategies that would help maintain the proper balance of all ecosystems, of all biodiversity. All fauna, all flora, all bodies of water, all dry land and the atmosphere; everything must undergo human control without ever losing sight of their daily maintenance and preservation. Each gesture must be mastered and calculated to avoid the imbalance of nature. The challenge of development is therefore the effort to be made to keep biodiversity alive, but a balanced and growing life. It is therefore the fact of guaranteeing the best aspirations that facilitate the cohesion of the different creatures who share this world.
