The benefits of family worship

Theme : “ The benefits of family worship ” Text : Psalms 128:1-6

1. Canticle of degrees. Blessed is anyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! 2. Then you enjoy the work of your hands, you are happy, you prosper. 3. Your wife is like a fruitful vine Within your house; Your sons are like olive plants Around your table. 4. Thus is blessed the man who fears the Lord. 5. The LORD will bless you out of Zion, and you shall see the happiness of Jerusalem all the days of your life; 6. You will see your sons' sons. Peace be upon Israel!

Let's remember:

Family worship has innumerable benefits within the family circle and even outside the family. Wherever we go, it is not uncommon to bring light, peace, love and joy, which we reap from the Lord during family worship. Everything begins with the head of the family who must be a driving force in this enterprise of prayer. Parents/guardians must live the fear of God and articulate it clearly and bluntly in order to spark the vocation of other family members. When household leaders walk in God's ways, they are successful in their activities. It is already a great asset to prosper and be happy. This shows that it is not financial poverty that drives us to pray but it is a response to the love that God expresses to us on a daily basis. Let's show the children how to serve God selflessly so they won't become discouraged when life's challenges come their way. Parents must have the same vision of family worship so as not to divide the children according to the opinion of dad or that of mom. This is how the children will see the need to lead the same life when they form their homes. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
