Stand where you are

Theme : " Stand where you are " Text : Jeremiah 26: 1-7

1. At the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, this word was spoken from the Lord, saying: 2. Thus saith the Lord: Stand in the court of the house of the Lord, and say to them that come to worship in the house of the Lord from all the cities of Judah all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not take a word out of it. 3. Perhaps they will listen, and each will return from their bad way; then I will repent of the harm I thought I would do them because of the wickedness of their actions. 4. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord: If ye do not hearken unto me when I command you to follow my law which I have set before you, 5. hear the words of my servants the prophets, I send you, whom I sent you in the morning, and whom you did not listen to, 6. then I will treat this house as Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth. 7. The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord.

Let us remember :

When the Lord sends us on a mission, let us keep all of his recommendations so as not to extract any. To stand up in the place where we are, it is also fidelity in the restitution, in the transmission of the messages coming from God. All recommendations received from God should not be bent in any way. Let’s go and convey the divine guidance to those concerned. If the people are not warned, we will be guilty before God. Every Christian is invested with divine authority. Every Christian has the mission to make disciples of all nations. Every Christian has the duty to love his neighbor as he loves himself. The Lord will judge our finished work in this world. He will hold us accountable for the place where we are supposed to stand. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
