Theme : " Stand where you are " Text : Daniel 10: 7-11

7. I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, and the men who were with me did not see it, but they were terrified, and they fled to hide themselves. 8. I was left alone, and I saw this great vision; my strength failed me, my face changed color and was broken down, and I lost all vigor. 9. I heard the sound of his words; and as I heard the sound of his words, I fell stunned, face down on the ground. 10. And behold, a hand touched me, and shook my knees and my hands. 11. Then he said to me, Daniel, beloved man, listen carefully to the words that I am going to speak to you, and stand in the place where you are; for I am now sent to you. When he had spoken thus to me, I stood trembling.

Let us remember :

When the hour of divine visitation strikes, the Eternal shines forth his glory. And when his glory breaks out, nothing and no one can oppose. On the contrary, the people around us will be seized with a great fear; they will flee to hide because terror will seize them. God asks us to stand up despite the shine of glory emanating from his supreme authority. Let everyone stand where they are. Let’s not disperse our strength to run away from the voice of God. Let’s not fall and let’s not hide the face unless it’s prostration. Let us stand up and worship our God who visits us. Each of us prays every day for God to visit him; and when the hour of the visit arrives, we slip away out of fear. Let us be courageous, that our face does not decay, do not lose our vigor. Let us be attentive and hear God without getting dizzy; let's stay standing where we are. Excellent month of October and good entry into the weekend. Amen Alain Louz.-
