Theme : " Stand where you are "
Text : Acts 26: 15-18
15. I answered: Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said: I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. 16. But arise, and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you to make you a minister and a witness of the things which you have seen and of those for which I will appear to you. 17. I have chosen you from among this people, and from among the Gentiles, to whom I send you, 18. That you may open their eyes to them, that they may pass from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive, through faith in me, the forgiveness of sins and the inheritance with the sanctified.
Let us remember :
God makes us experience certain situations to help us better understand the difficulty of those who are going through identical times. God blinded Paul in order to better prepare him, to equip him, to condition him to understand the complexity of the life of a blind man. After making him live it, God can then send Paul to go and open the spiritual eyes of the blind Jews and pagans. The mission begins the moment it is accepted. When we are ready to go, God says, get up, and stand on your feet. So, let's get up and take our pilgrim staff to begin the mission. Let's go exactly where God sends us and accomplish the mission that God asks us to stand for. Let us be efficient and relevant, enduring and determined. Let us work so that the spiritual eyes of the people of God are opened; so that they pass from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they receive, by faith in Jesus, the forgiveness of sins and the inheritance with the sanctified. Excellent Thursday in the harvest. Amen Alain Louz.-
