Stand where you are

Tuesday September 28, 2021

Theme : " Stand where you are " Text : Luke 6: 6-10

6. It came to pass on another Sabbath day that Jesus entered into the synagogue and was teaching. There was a man there whose right hand was withered. 7. The scribes and the Pharisees were watching Jesus, to see if he would heal on the Sabbath day: it was in order to have cause to accuse him. 8. But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man who had a withered hand, Arise, and stand there in the middle. He got up, and stood. 9. And Jesus said unto them, I ask you whether it is lawful on the sabbath day to do good or to do evil, to save a person or to kill him. 10. Then looking over them all he said to the man, Stretch out your hand. He did, and his hand was healed.

Let us remember:

The Christian must remain faithful to his commitments, faithful to biblical principles. We have an obligation to put into practice all that God teaches us. We should not dwell on the “hearsay” of this world which weakens our faith. Today Jesus Christ asks us to stand up in the middle of the crowd because he wants to do us good. Let’s not be ashamed, don’t doubt, don’t whisper, don’t refuse. Rather, let us wait for the work that God would like to accomplish where he has put us. For certain reasons, our entourage would not want God to operate in our life, let us not be disturbed because God is sovereign, their opinions do not count before our God. Let us remain standing in the middle of the crowd; let's wait for the feat that God will do. Let us prepare our hearts and do not falter. Let us keep courage; let us sanctify ourselves and remain in prayer. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
