1. (63: 1) Psalm of David. When he was in the wilderness of Judah. (63: 2) O God! you are my God, I am looking for you; My soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, In an arid land, parched, without water. 2. (63: 3) So I behold you in the sanctuary, To see your power and your glory. 3. (63: 4) For your loving-kindness is better than life: My lips praise your praise. 4. (63: 5) Therefore I will bless you all my life, I will lift up my hands in your name.

Let us remember:

In times of joy, it is easy to manifest spiritual desires because all is well. However in distress, in the desert, when nothing is going well; it is easy to fall into fear, stress, doubt, depression, discouragement, abandonment, suicide, perversion ... David preferred to rely on God knowing that he would find provisions that are available to him. lack. The desert is the expression of fatality; the moment when everything comes to a halt in front of you: it's the perfect opportunity to collapse, to collapse while waiting for death. This is the time for carnal desires. And yet, this is the best time to look up to the custodian of life in order to tell him of his spiritual desires for trust, assurance, faith, self-sacrifice, love for Him ...
