Theme : " Singing as a means of expression and communication of the gospel " Text : James 5:13

13. Is any of you in pain? Let him pray. Is anyone in the joy? Let him sing hymns.

Let us remember :

The vicissitudes of life make us forget the good attitudes that any child of God should adopt. We grieve, we cry over our fate, we will lament to anyone who comes before us. And yet, we forget the essential which is the basic rule. We put aside the best attitude; the right reflex: prayer and song. In the highlights of our life; instead of blessing God; we praise our exploits around us; we are usurping the place of Jesus the hero. In joy, we forget to give thanks or even to sing. From now on, let's set up singing sessions that would enshrine the authority of God in our activities. A part of song can be enough to disrupt the Machiavellian plans of the devil and his angels. Spiritual song is invested with an authority which heals, soothes, consoles, rejoices the heart. Spiritual song should revere God and lift us up to meet him. Solomon composed 1,005 hymns with the help of God. We too sing spiritual songs to God. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
