Seek to please the Lord our God

Saturday October 29, 2022

Theme: “Seek to please the Lord our God» Text: 1 Timothy 2:1-3 1. I urge therefore, above all things, to make prayers, supplications, petitions, thanksgiving, for all men, 2. for kings and for all those who are exalted in dignity, so that we led a peaceful and quiet life, in all godliness and honesty. 3. This is good and pleasing before God our Saviour, Remember: For our God, it is good and pleasant to pray for all men, for kings and for all those who are exalted in dignity. Instead of riddled them with criticism and other offensive analysis, it is good and pleasing before God to keep them from our daily prayers. It is the price to pay for leading a peaceful and quiet life, in all godliness and honesty. The Eternal God knows that our authorities are subject to pressures that exceed their will to do good. Thus, their will will undergo the approval of God if we pray for them. Likewise, for those in authority who have bad faith, our prayers could burn the altars of wickedness that subject them to evil. Our prayers are worth gold before our God. Before judging or criticizing; before taking sides or adhering (before all things): let us take the time to make prayers, requests, supplications, thanksgiving, in favor of all those who have any political, ecclesial, administrative, family… Let us submit them to the grace of God so that their intelligence may be enlightened by Him; and may the shadow of doom be dispelled in the Name of Jesus Christ. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
