Theme: "Role and responsibility of the Christian in the preservation of biodiversity" Text: Revelation 11:18

18. The nations were angry; and your wrath has come, and the time has come to judge the dead, to reward your servants the prophets, the saints and those who fear your name, small and great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.

Let's remember:

The expression “those who destroy the earth” applies to the inhabitants of Babylon and characterizes their corrupting influence as mentioned in Revelation 19.2 “because his judgments are true and just; for he judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he avenged the blood of her servants by demanding it back from her hand.” We can nevertheless say that the name Babylon represents the destroyer, regardless of its field of action. What is good to know here is that every destroyer of biodiversity will be called before God to stand trial. His work will be visualized and scrutinized from top to bottom to detect flaws in order to state the resulting sentence. We cannot destroy biodiversity with impunity and without worrying about it. We must answer for our actions because they are living beings and they deserve life. It is time to take responsible action and repair the damage done to biodiversity. It is still possible to put an end to this murderous and devastating madness of biodiversity. What world would we leave to the offspring of our families? If we love our families, then let us take care to leave them a stable and balanced ecosystem so that they can live in peace and without worrying about its degradation. The actions we take now will have consequences in 10 years and more. Excellent Friday and good start into the weekend. Amen Alain Louz.-
