Theme : "Role and responsibility of the Christian in the preservation of biodiversity" Text : Proverbs 12:10
10. The righteous take care of their cattle, But the bowels of the wicked are cruel.
Let's remember:
This is the work done day by day by our Lord Jesus Christ who cares for us. Is it not written that "We are his people and the flock of his pasture"? Ps 100:3. He is our shepherd, he takes care of us. It is He who leads us into green pastures. He leads us to still waters to quench our thirst. Jesus takes full responsibility for his flock. We, too, take care of the patrimony that Jesus bequeathed to us. He said to Peter, “Feed my sheep” John 21:17. He also said generally to the disciples, “Go, make my disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father…” It is up to us to take care of our livestock, both the flock of God and the beasts and other pets . Let us do our best to maintain the fauna because it is a noble biodiversity. Let's not mistreat wildlife, let's not decimate it, but let's maintain it. Properly maintaining our wildlife heritage also means doing the best we can for the reproduction of each species. No species extinction should be tolerated. When things are done right, it contributes to food security, nutrition, good animal husbandry, poverty reduction and economic growth. Let's not forget that good livestock care is a key driver for the sustainable development of agriculture. If we do not take care of the fauna, a large number of animal species will disappear and there will be no more development. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.
